About this Blog

I am determined to write every day.  I am also determined to love my life, 365 days of the year.   Now you may be saying, there is no way that someone can love their life ALL the time.  What about those days where you just want to crawl in a hole and disappear?  We all have those days.  Bad things happen at work.  A relationship falls apart.  A friend in lost.  A heart is broken.   I’ve had many a day like that.   But St. Paul teaches that we are to be content and love our life regardless of the situation.  Find joy in tribulation.  My joy is rooted in the knowledge that whatever happens in my life is happening for my greater good.  Whether it is developing compassion or patience, accepting the love that drives the universe, or deepening my faith, all events, good and bad, serve a purpose.  I may not know the purpose in my lifetime, but I have confidence in the fact that God is in control and that, in and of itself, brings me joy.
